I’m not as interested in Liberation as I am in the console Assassin’s Creed 3 because I don’t own a Vita.
That being said, I think it is pretty darn impressive how they can replicate a console experience on a handheld. Of course, I doubt that it will have as many of the new features that are going to be on the console version (huge battles, ships, etc.) but that’s one of the reasons why I don’t plan on getting the Vita.
While it is its own original game, I can’t help but feel that it is just a watered down port. Like it should be on the console, it should almost be like a side-story included with AC3 (or at least DLC). I have no problem with the game being a handheld, but I also expect it to provide an experience that is unlike any console experience. I expect it to provide a completely unique experience that utilize the Vita’s functions, instead of just pretending that they don’t exist or making them optional.
