Corporate America: The Political Satire Board Game

I’m sorry for the kinda wavy consistency that original content on this site, so in the mean time, check out this kickstarter for a board game being developed by a friend of mine. I’ve played the game myself last week, and it is totally fun. If you feel like this is something you would like …

History of Nintendo Part 1 – Leaving Luck to the Heavens

I’m surprised that this wasn’t already done, but whatever, awesome. With the Wii U fast approaching, what better time to learn the history of one of the most successful gaming company in the world. It is always cool to see how one great force of creativity and brilliance (Walt Disney and Disneyland) inspire another. I …

Halo: Forward Unto Dawn Part 4 – Why Bother Putting On a Helmet?

Finally the action is moving away from being Starship Troopers to being the Halo we all know and love. Master Chief is here and according to the internet, he’s like 15 years old. Also, I love the cadets reaction to him, priceless. One last note, I hate how Kat was taken out in Halo: Reach. …

A Sonic E3 Trailer For Sonic X-Treme

For those that don’t know, this is the E3 Trailer for a game called Sonic X-Treme, a Sonic game that never was released. Wow, Sega really had it out for Mario, as well as other consoles and their mascots, during the Saturn age.

Smash Bros. vs. PSASBR: Comparing Apples to Slightly Orange Apples

For the last two weeks, I’ve been enjoying the beta for Sony’s answer to Super Smash Bros., PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale and while the game does do some innovating things on its own, the whole game is still pretty hit and miss for me. As a long time Smash player, I can’t help but compare …

Did You Know Gaming – Sonic the Hedgehog

If Eggman’s mustache is a fake, then everything I know is a lie. This actually has a lot of really interesting bits of Sonic trivia, like Super Sonic in any level in Sonic Adventure and the maybe playable Tikal. Also, those images in Sonic CD are…disturbing at best.

Pach-Attack: What Happens to Games When The Network is Shut Down

Pach-Attack! This episode of Pach-Attack brought some really interesting questions to the table, so lets go in order shall we? 1) Apple’s Abuse of the Patent System I think that many people, gamers especially, are quick to target the big companies when they do something they deem unfair. This case being the perfect example of …

“Still Alive” Live-Performance

I don’t know the context of this recent live performance of “Still Alive” by Jonathan Coulton but even though this song is from that game from so long ago, it still is a good song. Personally, I think its better when this song is performed on acoustic guitar and not sung by GLADoS.

A Scene From Toy Story Redone in Team Fortress 2

So I don’t know if this is Source Filmmaker or Gary’s Mod, but I love this. It not only recreates a great scene from Toy Story, but it makes it stupid and hilarious. The ending also ruins a great family film forever.

Make Music, Throw Music- A Yoshi’s Island Fan Tribute Album

I know it’s been a slow week, but everyone is taking it easy right now since work is starting to pile up on everyone. When I’m not working, I like to relax a bit by playing Yoshi’s Island, a game I recently picked up after reading this. The game is very amazing, and it almost …

The Deadly Women of The Mushroom Kingdom

When you think of Princess Peach, Daisy, and Rosalina, you clearly think of gun totting, eye patch wearing, chains, bandages, and smoking right? No? Then I guess you’re just weird because I know I do which is why this fantastic piece done by Deviantart’s TheJayPhenrix who depicted the Mario Princesses exactly the way I always …
