Fable: The Journey Interview

I loved the dog in Fable II, oddly, a lot more than my “wife” and “child”.

But the most interesting thing about this video is that the studio had a big creative jam that anyone within their studio, no matter their role, could participate in. When I went to the GDC earlier this year, a panel featuring members of Double Fine Studios talked about a game jam saved their company by producing four original ideas and anyone could do it.

I think there needs to be this prevailing thought that anyone can makes games. Everyone has a good idea and hopefully this could encourage people to start making games instead of just playing them.
