Today I present the art of deviant art user, Sinobali. He has some video game related like the above Portal and Skyrim pictures.
While Portal didn’t feel so much like chess, I know a lot of games that do such as Fire Emblem and Endless Space. Every move has so much more importance and you have to be able to see several moves ahead of your opponent.
Take Pokemon for example. While hundreds upon thousands of books have been written on the game of chess, thousands of pages on the internet are occupied by Pokemon theory and strategies. Granted I think a lot of it is armchair theory and Pokemon fans seem way to eager to ban things before they prove themselves a problem, but that’s just my own bad experience in the Pokemon circuit.
