It’s Like Being There – 1990′s Nintendo World Championship

I think it is sometimes easy to forget that Nintendo holds these kinds of competitions. Even today, they are the only publisher that I know that has official tournaments for their games, like Smash Bros. and Pokemon. I remember one summer, they had this big family tournament and watched the finals take place in a variety of games like Wii Sports Resort and I think Mario (I can’t remember). So while things are definitely tone down, its cool to see how long these kinds of events have been going down.
